Polymorph, a premier software solutions provider, recently celebrated 10 years of excellence by enjoying the warm hospitality of La Pineta, Forrest 44. The celebration was attended by Polymorph employees and founders, members of the Alphawave Group, clients, and third-party contractors.
Celebrations kicked off with sundowners and canapes on the terrace at sundown with a breath-taking view of Table Mountain and the Cape Winelands. Colleagues, many of whom have not seen each other in years, had the opportunity to mingle and catch up on all the news and events of the last few years. This was followed by a cosy gathering inside a beautifully decorated hall (thank you, Madi and Helena!) at the welcoming glow of an open log fireplace and an elevated couch in the centre.
And what would celebrations be without speeches? Richard Barry (Chief Innovation Officer and co-founder) shared some background on where Polymorph started, followed by Lize Monametsi (Chief Executive Officer) thanking everyone for their contributions to making Polymorph an exceptional company to work with and for. She also led a spotlight session where the four founders, Richard Barry, Herman Lintvelt, Wim Morris, and Colin Payne had to answer some personal questions leading to explosions of spontaneous laughter and jokes.
Below are a few images from the evening (thanks to Wil Punt, who captured some of these beautiful memories on film.)
So, this is us – not old, just experienced, motivated, full of innovative ideas and an unbridled passion for software development. We hope to see most of you at our 20-year reunion!
