Polymorph Celebration 2014

It was a rainy day in Franschoek as the people of Polymorph set off to The Stall to celebrate.

We gathered with one aim in mind: To toast Polymorph’s achievements this past year and celebrate the people making it all possible. With wine, champagne, pizza and heavenly cupcakes we embraced our awesomeness.

The theme of the party was Funky Hat and the people of Polymorph proved themselves creative again. From a joker’s hat to some funky shower caps, there were hats that blew our minds. Especially the one that could move with the help of its own companion app! When it came to being original some of the people really pulled the rabbit out of the hat. Literally.

We also had an YTI competition running for the last few weeks and the winner of this competition was announced at this joyful gathering. However, to give everybody in the company a fair chance of winning, we also had a pop quiz regarding the company’s standards and values. This activity was fun and winners walked away with some locally produced wine and chocolates.

With heartfelt emotion Herman Lintvelt made a very touching speech. It just made us realize that when one is to follow one’s passion, success is sure to follow. All I can say is that it truly is an honour to be part of a team that’s this enthusiastic, optimistic and passionate.
We applauded Richard Barry as he gave us a summary of all the great projects we worked on the last year. Sitting there with swollen chests and humble hearts we felt unified and ready to take on the next year. We also welcomed Hendrik Schalenkamp to the team, not only to contribute to the company’s progress but also to serve as a mentor.

We are positive to the fact that we are and will continue to be changing the world; one app at a time!

With a team that’s not only passionate and committed but also experts in their field of work the future couldn’t look any brighter for Polymorph.

It’s with thanksgiving in our hearts and joy in our souls that we present a toast to all of Polymorph. May it grow rapidly and see many more successful years.
