This year’s AfricaCom conference in Cape Town was the place to meet everybody who’s anybody in African telecoms and technology. The conference brought together 15,000 attendees, 450 speakers and 500 exhibitors – this saw 90% of countries in Africa represented at one conference. It also launched a new IT event within AfricaCom called AfricaTech resulting in two buzzing exhibition halls and one industry-shaping event celebrating ICT convergence.
Polymorph had a really successful show exhibiting as an industry leader in the IOT tech space.
We had many interesting conversations with various technology decisionmakers who are likewise seeing the benefits of IOT. However, this year we moved beyond the hype of IOT and IOT as a buzzword to people seeing and realising the potential of an IOT solution. Some have even experienced real returns and are seeing new revenue and business growth off the back of implementing successful IOT solutions in their organisations
We are currently working on a Polymorph IOT demo platform which we will be launching in the next few weeks. We hope to encourage engineers and innovators to sign up and see how easy it is to get started and turn ideas into working IOT solutions.
